About the Artist
Dayana (b. 1993, Svishtov) is an artist living and working in Sofia. Since childhood, drawing has been her way of pursuing a career in the fashion industry. She graduated in Fine Arts (Painting) from the "Panayot Pipkov" National School of Arts in Pleven and later studied Fashion Design in Denmark, the Netherlands, and at the New Bulgarian University.
For more than a decade, classical painting remained completely in the background. The desire to return to it manifested as a necessity while working in a corporate environment. For her, it became a strong personal need to create something of her own and reconnect with what truly matters.
Her work is focused and aimed at finding meaning and tranquility in the details of everyday life, one's home, and nature. Her paintings carry a specific mood, without necessarily using complex symbolism. Her style and inspiration evolve naturally over time, remaining in a constant process of development.
